Installing PCI Expansion Cards
This page is currently undergoing editing
When handling expansion cards of any type (PCI, ISA etc) handle the card
by the edges only, and never touch the connectors or components. If you
remove a card to make room for the one your installing, store it in a
antistatic bag. Never install or remove a card at extreme angles as this
can damage the connectors, or worse wipe out CMOS data. Always screw the
card down to hold it in place. Once the card is in place close the case
on your PC, reconnect all the cables and turn the computer on.
